Restaurants deserve better than five systems that do not talk.
Restro started with a friend who ran two locations and reconciled three spreadsheets at midnight. All the software existed. None of it agreed.
One number, or none
If two screens can disagree about today’s takings, neither is worth reading.
Never take a cut
A commission would make us earn more when you sell more through us. That is a bad reason to design anything.
Show the awkward number
The drawer that is short, the check nobody paid, the count that went negative. Hiding those is not kindness.
Refuse, and say why
When something will not work, we say exactly why. “Something went wrong” is a support ticket you should never have to raise.
Your brand, not ours
Your site, your web address, your name in both app stores. Nobody ordering from you needs to know we exist.
Built for the eight o’clock rush
We design for the busiest ninety minutes of your week, not a calm demo. If it needs concentration, it is wrong.
The promises that are easier to keep in writing.
- We do not take commission on your orders, at any volume.
- We do not sell your customer data, or use it to advertise to anyone.
- We do not lock your menu, customers or orders in. Export them whenever you like.
- We do not put your restaurant inside a marketplace next to your competitors.
We build what a Friday night asks for.
Every feature in Restro started as somebody describing a bad evening. The waitlist exists because a manager kept one on paper and the bar could not see it. Deposits exist because a party of nine did not turn up on a Saturday.
We would rather ship one thing that survives the rush than five that only work in a demo. If you run a restaurant and something here is wrong, we want to hear it.
Come and break it on a Friday.
Two months on Build & Test with everything unlocked. If it does not hold up in your kitchen, we would rather find that out now than after you have paid us.
